  I think Yhorm‘s possible health exceeded the maximum health allowed for the game, so it was as if he lost half of his health

  I think its so funny how the ass crest shield is so powerful that not only did everyone use it for its buff, that almost everyone I know uses it religiously in DS1 and DS3 lol

  I think the reason yhorm was already injured is because most of the souls games have a maximum health cap for enemies and bosses, so yhorm probably had so much HP he hit the cap, and because his healthbar was already about halfway because of the cap, a single hit sent him to 2nd phase
