  Bathroom tip - before going into the bathroom, tuck your pants into you socks (preferably compression socks). &nbsp;Keeps your pants from dragging on the floor of the bathroom. &nbsp;That&apos;s NOT WATER on the floor.

  My jet lag pro tip is the app Timeshifter. It gives you advice on when to go to sleep, when to have coffee etc for a few days before your flight and also during it, and also when to avoid light, as that is the biggest driver of our circadian rhythm. I went from London to Japan via Finland recently and had zero jetlag when we got there. Magic tbh!

  Another jet lag tip - costly, but worth it. &nbsp;So many flights to Europe leave USA in the evening and arrive early AM in Europe. &nbsp;Chances are, you can&apos;t get into your hotel room until 3pm or even later, making you fight all kinds of jet lag waiting for your room. &nbsp;Spend the money and book the hotel for the night BEFORE and alert the hotel that you won&apos;t be arriving until say 9 in the morning......when you arrive, your room is ready, you can go up, unpack, take a shower, grab a 1-hour nap, then go out and explore the city and eventually tire out to go to bed at a normal time in your new time zone. &nbsp;It will cost you $200-$400 more depending on the hotel, but worth it in my book.

  As an Aircraft mechanic I would worn against using the foot hammocks that attach to tray tables. Tray ables are not designed for that and worst case you could brake it and accidentally cause a delay. Just my 2 cents. (Also I looked into it they are being banned from major airlines anyways for those reasons and for safety reasons. )

  Please be careful about promoting the leg hammock. I am a flight attendant and it is against policy to use a device that you attach to the aircraft. Since you have to attach it to the tray table, it could damage it as it is not built for that type of use. I know you said you’ve been using it for years but I know that this policy was recently added at my airline within the last year or so.

  I use my Loop earplugs on airplanes and honestly I didn&apos;t realize how loud airplanes are while you&apos;re flying. It&apos;s actually extraordinary and really fatiguing on the ears

  A really good tip is to use a little bit of nasal decongestant before taking off and landing. I used to get really bad pressure in my ears at those times, and couldn&apos;t pop my ears for the life of me lol. Absolutely nothing worked but recently I went to the doctor and he recommended doing this. It&apos;s a game changer, I barely even feel the pressure now.

  I prefer my outer layer to be a zipper or buttons, it&apos;s easier to take off or put on while sitting in your cramped airline seat.
