  Baltimore: <br> &nbsp; You know it&apos;s bad when Combat Vets hang out in GROUPS when standing outside the VA Hospital.<br> &nbsp; We don&apos;t walk around town either.

  Half of all MD crime happens in the 10-mile-wide ring around DC or in Baltimore city.

  I&apos;ll say this for Ocean City: tourist spots tend to bring in roudier crowds. Whilst being a tourist in a touristy place during peak seasons is pretty safe, living in a touristy spot during peak seasons will often mean a lot of drunk people and/or petty incidents such as break-ins

  I live in Calvert County Maryland and it’s probably the safest county in MD. Been here for 46 years

  I live in Berlin right outside of Ocean City, this is a safe area in comparison to Landover, Marlo Hieghts or Bmore. Waldorf and PG County used to be safe in the early seventies…when it wasn’t our family moved to the shore. Bmore by far way more crime/drugs-I went to college there and NEVER returned. As a Marylander I’m thankful to live on the shore.

  My dad worked in Landover, Bowie, &nbsp;Gwyns Falls, Baltimore, Bay View, Aberdeen. He&apos;s seen some crazy stuff in all these places.

  Another Side Bar Comment:<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; My son, a long time fan of Jersey Mike&apos;s Subs, &nbsp;won&apos;t go there anymore since it was bought out by blackstone &nbsp; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sS_JMXWnuUc&amp;t=564">9:24</a>. &nbsp; &nbsp; Its now more money for less food.
