This lesson has totally transformed my game. I am a fairly decent player, 5 handicap, but I wasn't releasing the club head so I lacked distance. After watching this video I finally understand that you have to pre-create the power with a proper wrist hinge. So goodbye huge heave and hello fast free club head. Thank you soooo much.

Thanks for clarifying that an early wrist hinge is okay to do assuming one gets to the correct L shape check point.

For me early wrist set, and turn is easier and more consistent, when I tried to set later I was inconsistent with my ball striking.

Lately I’ve been trying for an earlier wrist hinge because if I’m late the clubhead tends to get behind me and open the face, particularly with wedges. Nothing worse than being 50 yards out and missing the green right or even shanking.

I stayed off the course with a head cold and watched your videos. When I got back on the course I said to my long time golf buddies "I've been watching YouTubes, you know what that means." I meant probably 'not' good. One of my pals said "whatever you were watching, keep doing it." I hit 17 out of 18 fairways and averaged 15 to 20 yards further. Great stuff. I've been in a slump for years and I'm excited about golf again. Thanks so much!
