  We do not gate keep in this hobby but it’s so true that we have so many people in the hobby that maybe watched the anime when they were young, but are not familiar with the later gen’s (gen 3 and onward). This can be dangerous if they are not researching the big cards they want and are just buying them on a whim. You need to research the significance of the pokemon, the artist, the set and the gem rate to see a the potential of a card before dropping hundreds of dollars on it. Great vid.

  Today for the first time ever I bought pokémon cards off of what not and I have been out of the pokémon loop for very long time. I was about 7 years old when the first set of cards came out. I am now 35 years old and the reason I got into it again is because my 7-year-old son thinks it&apos;s awesome. Every Wednesday we go to a local card store here and we battle with other players. Since then I was thinking about starting my own collection. Gemini said that I did pretty good on what I got and actually made a profit but we&apos;ll have to wait and see to the car to hit delivered I guess
