  1. Use cards you don’t want for trading<br>2. Use Pokemon Center items for selling<br>3. Have a specific goal like “I will only collect 5 pages of Pokemon and be done for X amount of time”. <br>4. Only open 10-35 packs per set and nothing more <br>5. But the specific single you want if you don’t get what you want in step 4<br><br>These 5 things allow you to get enough money to get cards for a lot less without killing your bank account

  My kid just pulled the darkrai mega ex one last day of our camping trip. &nbsp;Stopped at meijer on the way home. I thought him a pack and he bought himself one. &nbsp;I bought one for me and my other kid. &nbsp;I was in the camper messing around d in the parking lot and he ran up to me screaming daddy!!! I eas in disbelief lol at the same time my other kid gets sick and puked in my camper right next to us. &nbsp;Very memorable 🤣. Long story short we sleeved and top loaded and looked at it the whole way home.

  I&apos;m a newbie at collecting, and TCG world. I only make two kind of decisions now: 1. Is it worth holding in long therm? (sealed products) 2. Is is worth opening and having fun? &nbsp;There&apos;s no choice in between.

  So glad I have found your channel and decided to watch a bunch of your videos before buying anything. I have never collected Pokemon and almost jumped right into buying a bunch of Pitch Black cause it just came out a few days ago and is all hyped up, but figure I instead want to think about about a goal and set that before buying anything and then go from there. Appreciate you man!

  I see so many collections that are just a mess of vintage and modern, psa 7-9s. Not memorable at all.<br><br>I picked a niche within a niche (low pop from a particular vintage set) to get psa 10s in. Have less cards but it’s so impactful because the collection has an identity and I have a clear goal. Also allows me to spot opportunities because I’m zero’d in on daily listings

  I totally agree Phil. I just finished completing ascended heroes master set over the weekend. Side story, the last card i chases was N&apos;s PP Up Reverse Holo. It was very rewarding finding that card in a bulk from one seller. I switched to buying singles when i got to 40% IR and 30% SIR. And this helped me narrow my spending significantly though Ascended Heroes is expensive. Without this goal, i could have spent more just to collect any cards that has the hype.
