  What really made Bubba Ho-tep work was how well both actors played being old men.  The real joke in Love at First Bite was that Dracula was being played by George Hamilton - a  man known for his SUNTAN.

  I should point out that &quot;Love at First Bite&quot; is a note-for-note ripoff of a film made several years earlier called &quot;Guess What Happened to Count Dracula?&quot; Plotwise, both films have Dracula moving to the US (LA in &quot;Guess What&quot;) &nbsp;to flee the Communists, falling in love with a woman at a club, and then having a psychiatrist who is obsessed with her try to kill him. It is such a clearcut case of plagiarism that if the people who made the independent, small-budget original took Paramount to court, it&apos;d take one view of both movies to find in their favour. But I suspect if they had tried, Paramount would have bankrupted them before the trial could begin. &quot;Guess What Happened&quot; is at least as funny when it is intentionally humourous, but has the added benefit of unintentional humour, and has the added bonus of film locations like the Magic Castle, and a hilarious good vampire vs evil vampire scene.

  &quot;Hysterical&quot; (1980) with &nbsp;the Hudson Brothers. &nbsp;It parodies &quot;The Shining&quot; with &nbsp;&quot;All work and no play make Casper a friendly Ghost.&quot; &nbsp;Jaws (featuring Murray Hamilton again as a Mayor (Not Vaughn), The Exorcist. &nbsp;So dumb I highly recommend it!
