Bertie never wanted to be King and that’s why he was a good King, no sense of entitlement. He saw Kingship as a burden to be endured.

This is a poorly titled video. He wasn't weird, he was picked on, frightened, abused and overcame all of these with amazing strength and dignity.

George VI was a King’s King. When confronted with a challenge he was never prepared for he didn’t flinch, and he did it well.

To be fair, that ambiguous word "WEIRD" could be applied to his elder brother, David, who many regarded as a traitor. Top of the list for that title is, however, Louis Mountbatten ! Bertie never expected to be king, was not trained for it, but did the job as best he could. 🤔
