  We lived in Anaheim from 1975-1986. I was 7 years old when we moved there. We originally came from Santa Fe NM, and whenever any of our family, relatives would come out to visit, we would take them to Disneyland. I remember my cousins my age couldn't believe that we lived in "paradise" and could walk to Disneyland any time we wanted. My father was wealthy and we had a beautiful 2 story house with lemon and orange trees and they couldn't believe it. It was a great time in my life. I'm proud to say, I lost count at 89 times visiting Disneyland. Today that number has to be 125 times.

  My Grandpops worked hard building Disneyworld. I'm always going to be proud of him. He's is getting on late in his years, but I will always admire that his contribution to the world will stand for years to come for all to enjoy. What a time it was back then.

  They literally put Main Street up and almost finished from nothing but a dirt patch in 4 days. That is just amazing.<br>One of the coolest videos on the internet, and inspiring things I&apos;ve ever seen. Thank you to everyone who worked on this park, and this history.

  Tony and Co. presented &nbsp;this at either early Destination Disney or the Expo. There were different presentations, some hilarious segments.

  I was a little kid living in Garden Grove, my mom packed a picnic lunch and me and my friend Danny rode our bikes to Anaheim and watched the construction activity. It was magic.

  Oh what a nostalgic rush... this just blew me away!! My sister and I worked at the park from 1960 to 1964. Admiral Joe Fowler lived down the street from us in Corona del Mar and he was the one who made it possible for us to work there, bypassing a waiting list of 5000 applicants! I was a ride operator working in Fantasyland, and my sister worked on Main Street. Thanks for posting this!

  The first time I visited Disneyland was in December 1966. &nbsp;I was with my mom &amp; sister waiting to board the monorail when many of the employees started crying. &nbsp;The news that Walt had just died reached the park. &nbsp;One of the sadest days of my life.

  It&apos;s hard to imagine that the place where disney stands was surrounded by endless rows of farm fields.
