Laura had several Big Hits she’s probably one of the most underappreciated female artist ever.! Power of love, self control, but if you want to really hear the power in her voice, and believe me, there was a lot of power in her incredible voice.! Tiamo. This song was covered by a lot of people. No one comes close to Laura Branigan, when it comes to Tiamo.! I had the pleasure of meeting her. Several times she used to perform at the Santa Rosalia feast on 18th Ave. in Brooklyn Bensonhurst. Such a sweetheart… Rest Easy my old friend 🙏💔🙏

When this song came out we didn't know who she was but this song became a party anthem in the 80s. It was so catchy, fun and upbeat that everyone loved to join in. It still makes me smile and is emblematic of the 80s.
