The whole concert was in quadraphonic. They had wireless speakers at that stadium something like 160 or 120 wireless speakers all around besides the stage, you hit everything perfect wherever you sat music coming from different directions.

Also, this was one of first three encore the encore war wish you were here then they did comfortably numb and ended. The show would run like hell.

That scat (vocalizing) with the guitar is principally how David writes songs. He starts with a riff or a melody and lays down a track without words, only la la la, and later the words are added. So he has a lot of practice doing it. Since mid 1990's his wife Polly has written almost all his lyrics, including for several Pink Floyd albums after Roger left the band. In an interview she describes it - after David lays down the music track, she listens to it on headphones while walking for miles and the words just appear, "the music is so suggestive, I mean David speaks with the guitar"... Also David did a solo album and then a 23 show tour in 2024. And his daughter, Romany sings backup on the new album and on tour, plus she sings lead on one song. She has inherited some of David's brilliance. She was performing some of her own songs at the open mic night of a local pub in the summer before the 2024 tour and along came dad and they did an impromptu duet of Wish You Were Here:
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/6B3_vwwVf_w (David Gilmour crashes daughter's gig to duet with her)

And here they are in the Luck and Strange concert:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iahiYFp1rQs ( David Gilmour with Romany Gilmour - Between Two Points (Live at the Circus Maximus, Rome) )
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/MMmU50_Ak_I (Here’s David talking about when Romany recorded the vocals for Between Two Points.)

And a lovely photo album of Romany growing up. She does look a lot like the young David:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_gQ_D5yhAE ( David Gilmour and Romany Gilmour - Kokineli )
Can you imagine having David Gilmour as your dad and music teacher?

This video was at Earl's Court in London and had about 15k people. I saw this tour in Detroit at the Silverdome and as I recall it was 111,000 people there. Hearing that whole crowd sing along with this song was a moving experience. Best total concert experience I've ever had.
