If you’re Turkish like me, or from that side of the world, you definitely saw someone you know in Elif. Your mum, your aunt, or that one neighbour who feeds the entire street like it’s her full-time job… yeah, that one.

There are so many women like her who move to a new country and try to build a life from scratch. And opening even a small restaurant? That’s not “just a little dream”, that’s a full-on boss-level mission with crazy costs and real risk.

So honestly, even giving her a tiny bit of hope… that probably meant more to her than you realize. You didn’t just help, you lit a spark.

I really hope we get more people like you and Elif in this world.

Oh my God, thank you Steven so much for helping out Elif—that’s my mom—and I just wanted to say how much she genuinely appreciated everything you did for her. It really meant a lot to her, and she couldn’t stop talking about how kind and supportive you were. She’s truly very thankful, and so am I, because it’s not every day you come across someone who goes out of their way to help like that, so it honestly made a big difference for her and for us as well.

Ive known Pierre for many years, hes a good friend of mine, we used to sell next to each other at the swapmeet, hes an absolutely incredible person, has been out in the harsh arizona elements selling shea butter for many, many years with a smile on his face. Im so happy to see him in this video and that you blessed him, he definitely deserved it! And his mango whipped shea butter is phenomenal!
