Most underrated video game analysis channel. My current favorite for the past year or so.

New(ish) fan ever since the Icewind Dale video and have been following your channel. I have watched your Baldur’s Gate videos and those convinced me to try and play the baldur’s gate games myself. I’ve been having so much fun and have recently started Shadows of Amn. These games are the best! Thank you for your videos man, appreciate your work a lot!^^

Throne of Bhaal is basically fanservice for all of those who wanted to steamroll their godlike party for a little longer. I liked that concept a lot, but I guess not everyone sees the whole expansion as kind of an outro to the main game.

I don't think it's a problem that a lot of the encounters don't give you a challange because you are canonically a demigod and by this point you have defeated already sarevok and irenicus and many dragons and you literally been to hell and back.<br>If you play the whole trilogy from the start and play with the same imported character the powerlevel feels earned and because of that it is so satisfying to see all the devastation you can unleash on the battlefield. Long gone are te days of being killed by a random wolf.

To me ToB made me surprised to hear BioWare was considered to have failed in rounding out the Mass Effect trilogy because the voyage of taking a character from Gorion’s tutelage in Candlekeep, to learning about the Bhaalspawn lore through Sarevok’s apotheotic ambitions, to finally choosing whether to ascend to godhood, was such a ride at the time

I remember in the final battle having one random potion that increased your wisdom to 25. It didn't seem useful until I found out that the choices of the outcomes of the wish spell are based on your wisdom, so with 25 they were all amazing options, such as making the entire party fully rested as if they had 8hrs rest.

I don't think I ever enjoyed Throne of Bhaal for the gameplay, but rather as the epic conclusion of a long narrative and the fantastic set pieces you are being sent to
