  Marshall is easily my favourite of the three guys. He&apos;s by far the most genuine, and least pretentious. While Barney has flashes of decency, and Ted merely THINKS that he&apos;s a good guy, Marshall is the real deal.

  no ex at your wedding was not a rule at all because ted was at robin&apos;s and barney&apos;s wedding and robin was at ted and tracey&apos;s wedding so that rule makes no sense at all

  One thing, that for me makes Barney best(not means most moral) is, he treats others better, or at least equal, to himself, but is NOT naive about it. He try to stay fair, but not idealize.<br>Whatever he says, he did most good of all cast in all episodes. 🤷‍♀️<br> Ted is vunerable narcissist, who lives for world to pity him and that&apos;s why I can&apos;t stand him.🤷‍♀️<br> My mom is such person, so I know that self victimization, that he tried to sold us by whole plot. And I am not falling for it. <br><br> While I also love Marshall, he is naive and is reminding me of Barney from this pre-suit episode. Marshall have to stand tall, as jury and I think, he is often pushover, but his choices stays biased, which is opposite to who he wants to be. 🤷‍♀️<br><br> That is why both chosing for partners LILLY AND ROBIN are interesting, yet obvious cases. <br><br> It is best shown in episode, when Robin asks both her ex about her being independent and self-sufficient. While Ted whine about it, Barney says, it is one of most awsome traits about her. <br><br> Ted is just WEAK, deluded man, who projects on others to serve his needs. He didn&apos;t even fall for TRUE Robin, only illusion he saw in a bar about her. That&apos;s why Ted/Robin ending is additionally frustrating. It is not even HER anymore. <br><br> Because ironically Tracy is &quot;old fashioned&quot; type of strong, that stays very feminin about it. Ted is stereotypical &quot;weak man&quot; of new age, who needs woman, that will let him still feel &quot;manly&quot;. Which is opposite to Robin core. Marshall and Barney by core stays more &quot;old fashioned&quot; in values, especially Marshall...but prefere new age, independent women, that can take care of themselves. And not feel bad about their freedom. <br><br> And when Lilly stays in a way very old fashion, Marshall got independent, strong...family woman. <br> Barney got independent, strong... MODERN woman. Originally. 🙌<br> <br> Ted is weak man. So Tracy as independent, yet old fashion, warm, tender woman, who wants future same, as him, was PERFECT. <br><br> Instead end is soft, needy, reality detached man with strong, independent woman...ROBBED OF IT to fits his needs. 😒<br><br> That&apos;s why I dislike Ted as character and even with all controversy around character, like Barney most. He is vunerable under suit, but try make himself AND OTHERS stronger, without falling into trap of need of &nbsp;creating utopia. Constantly wanting to improve world around him, like Marshall, but in more down to earth, ironically, way. <br> <br> My rank would be Barney, Marshall and far behind, Ted.

  At least Ross has a couple of examples where he’s a good friend. They’re hard to find mostly, but are there. I don’t know when Ted was ever a good friend. I’m more likely to remember Barnie being a good friend.

  I think out of all 3 of the guys Ted is the worst. Purely because he thinks he&apos;s a good person when he&apos;s just AWFUL. Barney at least knows he&apos;s a bad guy, yk?
