  Love your take. They're one of my all time favorite storylines on TV . The chemistry, the complexity, the growth. It was too well written to screw up withing 5 minutes. The finale does not exist 😂

  This take is spot on, I always had a problem with the way the writers handled their relationship in season 5. I still feel like they prematurely had to break them up but I feel like they should have kept them together and have them grow more. Now knowing why they did what they did to them in the end is why I think that they should have tried to fix their relationship much sooner and not spent so much time on filler relationships. However, they needed to grow separately to realize their past mistake in this season. Barney and Robin BOTH had that character development so strong nothing could break them up. By the end they had the most secure and happy relationship.

  Finally, &nbsp;someone who noticed that the hints of them having feelings for each other in Season 1😅 &nbsp;<br>Actually the HAVE YOU MET TED is where Barney starts developing feelings for her, when he noticed her talk as she was introduced to the gang and Lilly interrupted Barney&apos;s trainof thought when Robin went to the loo &amp; she asked Ted &amp; Barney that she likes Robin &amp; wants her to be part of the gang and none of them should sleep with her, and put emphasis on Barney
