  When I was 16, I defended myself with a .32 acp pistol... the other person can't eat or breath normally on account of being dead.

  My realization of "32 is enough" was from Paul Harrell's video on the cartridge. Although Paul was underwhelmed, the 32 broke the bones on the meat target with each shot, meaning good aim will put the round in a vital area like any bigger pistol round without the round getting deflected.
