  I cracked up every time you said Sweden ruined IKEA for you. I asked a little old Swedish Grandma what she thought of IKEA food and she said it was schitt. I laughed so hard.

  As a Swede, the "Asian-style meatballs" are actually much closer to what I tend to do with my meatballs when I just eat them at home. I'm not the biggest fan of mashed potatoes so I rarely eat meatballs in the traditional style, but I often buy meatballs for everyday meals. When I do those meals, it's not at all unusual for me to just fry up those bad boys, cook some pasta, and then add some kind of sauce. That sauce can be a lot of things (usually some sort of dedicated pasta sauce), but it's not at all uncommon that I also just use a sweet Thai chili sauce. Meatballs + pasta + Asian spices can work really well together!

  In Canada Ikea now has chicken meatballs with rice and tikka masala sauce, meatball nachos, and codfish balls.

  Phil, the loop/round. You're not alone. The key in IKEA is to turn around and walk back a few steps and there's a way back. Of course they need paths towards exists in case of emergency.
