I'm sure he wasn't the ONLY one committing murder during that entire BTK time span.

I grew up in south Wichita during this time. As teens in the 1990’s we were taught that there were 2 or more active serial killers, btk wasn’t alone. We weren’t allowed anywhere near Wichita State after dark. These cases shaped who I am as an adult, woman, mother and friend.

I'm a wichita native. I was young, but I remember my grandma telling me to look for moved furniture or an open door, and if I saw that I was to leave and call the cops at the neighbor's house. I was only 5 when he was arrested. I wish I could remember more.

Multiple predators I’m afraid. Good video, well researched.

I’ve lived in Wichita my whole life. It’s crazy because the house Barbara Smith lived in is currently up for rent.. I wonder how many people have rented this house and not realized the horrific things that went on.

I have had a lot of experiences with BTK. First, I worked directly with BTK during my entire first year working as a CO for KDOC, I worked in Seg and death row was one of my regular posts, so I would put the death row inmates in restraints and would escort them to the showers, I'd take them meals, get them clean clothes and basics, and would perform all necessary duties as a cellhouse officer. I wondered if he would ever figure out who I was....and well, he did eventually...
My mother used to be City Prosecutor in Park City, and my Grandpa has a street and soccer complex named after him there(BTK knew my name and family because of his job with the city) because my Grandpa was also City Prosecutor and one of the founders of Park City. One day on shift at the prison, BTK asked me about my last name and if I was related to anyone at the city, and I had to pretend I had never been to Park City in my entire life, but I look exactly like my mom so I'm sure he knew exactly who I was, but I would never EVER let the inmates know who my family was. I remember when he resurfaced, and I was in high school, we had to call the police a few times because someone was trying to break into our house and with my mom's job, they you told her she was at risk for him coming to find her or me and my sister, it was a really scary time, so it was strange when I was assigned to his cellhouse at the start of my career. Also my Dad was good friends with Kevin, he told us about the day BTK shot him and killed his sister, it was after BTK resurfaced and Kevin came over and sat on our porch and talked to my Dad about it for hours. He is such a nice man, and it really affected him, it tore him up inside. Hearing itwhat happened directly from him was so incredibly sad.

My father grew up in Wichita. He's said my grandfather always thought Rader had an accomplice. He said it was a pretty prevalent belief amongst the adults in his dad's circle of friends.

i'm from and still live in the Wichita area of your documentary. I have to say all your details are accurate and spot on. There's a lot that get some details wrong, but you are accurate right down to the tiny details.

I hear that drum beat heralding a new ep from Ruin Road and I drop what I'm doing and settle in for some more of the best in crime coverage.

My sister Deanna is in this story, I would like to know how her name came up under BTK we know without a doubt it was Bryan that killed her this was a shock to see this story after so many years and to see her picture, the police and court fail my sister They want to blame him for all the cases the police couldn't solve. It makes me sad she is in this story

I rarely day a lot, but your crime uploads are head and shoulders above the rest on youtube. Soundtrack, the clips, the editing along with your narration just superb
