  The lead singer was abused as a child and many of his songs are about his trauma. Its his way to cope and let it all out.

  Miss Shavon, I saw the reaction title and my heart sank….  It’s so heavy, so raw, and it’s heartbreaking.  It’s amazing that he was willing to put this out there so other people (kids or adults with childhood trauma) could feel like they’re not alone, and it wasn’t their fault.  A disturbing song, but staying in our comfort zone doesn’t push us to make the world better.

  After they stopped playing, the band got with him in the booth to hug him.  Some say that it was Jonathan's idea for the music to keep playing while he broke down, some say it was the producer's idea.  Either way, it was a pretty powerful statement about what sexual abuse does to a person long-term.

  His dad wasn't the abuser.  It was a babysitter.  His parents didn't believe him, that's what most of the lyrics involving his parents are about.  Jonathan and his father actually reconciled later.

  It burns me up that this fuckin’ thing happens and his parents didn’t believe him. Thank goodness it wasn’t his parents but confused a lot of peeps, ya know! It was a babysitter, friend of the family, thinking the second Mom’s side of shit.

  This was a tough one for the singer Jonathan Davis to go through. The song and the real life experience. The story goes that he told the band he was gonna power through and said just keep recording no matter what happens. As a man that is a SA survivor, this song hit so hard when I first heard it. Wasn’t my parents, but a “friend” of the family. Happened when I was 5. Didn’t tell my parents until I was around 30. Should have opened up about it much earlier. Messed my life up for a long time.

  I’m so glad you reacted to this! Everyone deserves to hear this song atleast once in life to realize the reality of life and the sad part of the world. We never judge anyone and always stick together

  As a parent (I’m not one, but I have a lot of nieces and nephews that I would give my life for), your children should be priority number one. &nbsp;No exception. You are your child’s ride or die and nothing comes between that bond. <br><br>To ignore your child’s cries for help, especially when you know what’s going on? That’s a special place in hell.

  This song was a hidden track for a reason when it 1st came out and I can&apos;t tell you how many friends got crushed hearing it and taking them back to the worst period of their life
