  I met Victor in the gym one day on the Gold Coast when the Bulls were here to play the Reds. He was friendly and open to chat with a nobody like me. A good guy.

  as a kiwi &nbsp;everything he said about those players was equally about himself,seeing matfield lining up against the allblacks you just knew it was going to be a battle and matfield was one of those players you wished was on your side or injured lol

  JC was asked whilst on holiday in Devon if hed turn out for Barnstaple RFC 3xv, turned up with new boots to catch the bus with the lads. Played the game in exactly the right manor, to the level of the guys around him. Even turned out for the Barbarians wearing Barnstaple socks. Top top man.
