  What impresses me so much about this game is how true it is to Chambers&apos;s original book, and how it draws from that instead of the Lovecraftian mythos. <br><br>Heck, it even pulls themes from the much less popular second half of <i>The King in Yellow,</i> the stories that on their face don&apos;t seem to be horror but focus on themes of romance and war.

  This is a great analysis! I also want to mention @<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pV4bDC7MZ0M&amp;t=936">15:36</a>, the fact that there is no moon not only lends itself to the supernatural aspects of the eclipse, but much like the rest of the game, is meant to be metaphorical. Nitya’s last name is Chandran, which most likely is derived from Chandra, the Hindu god of the moon. Given her connections to the Blue Precipice, the opposite of the Yellow Shore, as well as the moon jewelry that she’s wearing in her first “reunion” with Arjun; I believe that Nitya is meant to represent the moon. The fact that there is no moon indicates that Arjun will never truly reunite with Nitya and that the eclipse represents his all-consuming obsession of reclaiming his lost lover.

  This is a great breakdown and helped me get closure after finishing the game. It connected all the pieces nicely and gave me a clear chronological picture of everything that transpired without delving too much into theoretical postulating.

  I can’t help but feel that when you talk about Soltari, Weyland-Yutani, or really any sci-fi megacorp, it becomes hugely relatable to the world we live in now. Of course, good writing is meant to reflect reality in some way, but it almost feels like those fictional worlds aren’t just commentary anymore — they feel like a glimpse into the direction our own reality could be heading.

  Hi fantastic video it&apos;s honestly the best breakdown on YouTube. I remember in Returnal the &quot;True&quot; ending came with the additional content. Where Selene embraces Theia who then ascends with Helios, while earning a reward with a break from the cycle. I&apos;m assuming Saros isn&apos;t complete and that Arjun is not real in the same way Selene was vehicle for Theia. I think there is more to the golden bed, who Sebastian was and Nitya&apos;s story.
