  The idea is good. It all looks a little wobbly. A stronger spring is definitely better. I would also make the spring-loaded pin at least 8 mm in diameter so it can&apos;t bend, and shorten the spring travel to 20 mm. It&apos;s enough if the tap is guided through 4-5 threads. After that, it guides itself. Too much spring travel makes the whole thing less stable. I would definitely ream the holes to an H7 fit with a reamer to ensure precise pin guidance.
