Pittsburgh is now one of the cleanest cities in America now. I’m 82 and clearly remember when it was the smokey city. It is quite the opposite of that now.

I love the 'burgh. There's so much here.We toured the Carrie Furnace and learned what it was like for steel workers They imported Eastern European people and put them in works groups with everyone speaking a different language so they couldn't unionize. Frick and Carnegie were not as good as you might think.

The Point's fountain does in fact have a well that taps the "4th river" aquifer. River is just a misnomer. It does also have a connection to city water.
