  Fun fact: in the novel which the show is based on, Jonasi does die of HIV, but instead of a Machiavellian scheme by Joyce, it’s just a random chance encounter, which imo makes Jonasi more of a victim of his own choices

  I’ve commented this on the previous video. For context: Ministers in South Africa are heads of government, not churches. Like how y’all have secretaries of state- it’s the EXACT same thing. And big companies get contracts with government sometimes to do public service- &nbsp;like constructing &nbsp;public buildings/structures/roads etc. <br>That’s why the minister being on good terms with Jonasi matters - these government contracts are 7 figure contracts. And if Jonasi plays with Joyce’s influencer money, she’ll play with his construction money.
