  You should mention, that the Honda has a oil runner belt. This can cause engine damage, and it is very expensive to replace.

  I would love to see two Honda Eu 2200I's (comp model and regular model) vs two Yamaha EF2200i's paralleled for head to head comparison. max load test, fuel efficiency under 1/2 load and max load,  noise comparisons etc.

  I ended up buying the Honda 2200i over the Yamaha because the size and sound levels were the main factors for my decision.

  I own the honda eu22i and it's the best generator I have ever bought,if it's running on eco it's so quiet and runs all day

  I have the yamaha and love it. It powers my rv ac with a micro air easy start. We got it because of the larger gas tank and the built in 30 Amp plug.

  I bought this for my stepmother during hurricane Ian. We used it for one day and then her power was back on. Each year I take it out and run it for about 15 minutes. Hurricane Milton came knocking and this generator saved me from the heat of Florida. Super quiet when using ECO mode. I ran a window AC unit, refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot, lamp, charging everyone&apos;s cell phones. They were NOT all running at the same time. Pick and choose what you need. When running the AC and refrigerator, I would run them for about 3 hours then turn the generator off. <br>When storing the generator, I do NOT keep gas in it. I drain it from all gas and even take the carburetor out and drain it. Change the oil after several days of usage, and change the oil before storing it. Oil is cheap, don&apos;t be a lazy A$$hole and not change it. Read the manual and you won&apos;t have any problems. And this thing is SO QUIET.......<br>Buy the Honda.........

  Great comparison video.<br><br> Surprisingly the only YouTube video I can find actually comparing these two latest flagship generators. <br><br>I&apos;d take the Honda over the Yamaha, but I&apos;ve already settled for one of the sub $400 Yamaha clones that seem to run quieter anyway.<br><br> Cheers!
