What are your thoughts? Do you agree? What other models would you add or replace?

As a guy who lives OffGrid, at sub zero temps at times, nothing beats Champions cold start. My Honda struggles to run below 10 at 4000 feet. The only thing that sucks about my larger Champions is they relocated the exhaust on the bigger unit and the O2 shutoff is super sensitive.

Yeh.. I picked up my Champion 4500 on Sale at Costco 3 yrs ago, and I'm loving it.. Sold my old 20 yr old Honda 2500, and the upgrade cost about $300. I've been super impressed, yes though I may have to take a second pull to start. It not a problem, super smooth, super quiet..

My favorite all-around generator for rving right now is the 3500 watt Predator. I do a lot of boondocking and am always impressed with how quiet they are compared to my Wen 2350. There is something about that tone that makes them blend into the background. I have also watched them perform well in construction. If I need to go bigger in the future, that would be the one I would get.

I bought 2 yamaha ef2000is back in 2013. There used mostly at remote camp sights. No problems at all after all these years. One gen is a little smother than the other for some reason. But again zero issues. Thanks for the useful info.

Really wish you would have compared same size models. Never the less, thanks for the video. It is great to hear of other experiences. I have a Honda 3k circa 2000. I love it. It ran for 10.5 days after a hurricane. I only stopped it to change oil once a day. After the storm blew away the shed, it was exposed to >100 mph wind and rain. A small gen for leisure, and not a backup like my Honda, I am considering a less expensive unit. My wishlist is <50lbs, 18A, & super quiet. I was looking at a Westinghouse 2500, but can't find too many reliable reviews. Thanks again for the video.

Champion 4500W invertor dual-fuel w/ electric start - definitely THE #1...I've only boondock camped with it once, but it ran the 13,500 BTU A/C, fridge/freezer, and everything else in my '21 RPod without issue on propane. Fits under the tonneau cover of my '24 Canyon. Three times used during home power outages with a Reliance Controls transfer switch powering four circuits in my house - again, flawless. Great vid, thx!

I made both my Honda 2200 and Honda 3000 TrI-fuel with the Hutch Mountain conversion kits. I’ve had them for years and never a problem.

Ive had a $300 champion since 2016 and its been a lifesaver for a few years. (Its a backup and loaner now) Ive let people hold it and it cranks every time first pull. Now its not really charging and ive overloaded it a lot its paid for itself time and time again. I will purchase another champion!
