Unfortunate timing, they just changed it so that you can only apply where you're a resident

Welp, you're now only allowed to apply in your home country (or residence), so a lot of this isn't relevant now.

CLICKBAIT - The video opens with them holding their approved visa yet the video title says their visa application was denied.

And now two new rules have completely changed how you have to apply for this visa, as of August 31st.

You have to apply from your home country or a country where you have a permanent residence, and you need a criminal background check.

I applied in HCMC in early August and start to finish it was a little over three weeks, so it is not faster. Maybe HCMC was in the past but it’s not now. And they really scrutinized my application, but I got it 🙏🏾.

I'm pretty sure Thailand just announced changes to the DTV that you can only apply from your country of origin now also.

There is a 4th way you can qualify for DTV. You can apply for medical and get approved. Go to (or contact a hospital) and get an appointment for some work to get done. Get an appointment documented when the work is to be done. Whatever work you need or choose to have done will be done by Board Certified Doctors and at a fraction of the price in your home country. (I then submit the bills to my insurance company at home, and it is paid without question).

Congratulations welcome to Thailand 🇹🇭

You have to apply either in the country where you're a national, or the country where you're a resident. Better read the rules before applying.

Since 15th September new rules. You can only apply from your country of residence and you need a criminal record report.

So this advice is for someone with no home because if you actually have a home, you just apply online and it's a cakewalk.

Thank you for the video. Regarding the bank account, does it have to be checking/saving or can it be from a brokerage (non crypto), retirement (IRA, 401K), etc.? Thx.
