5. diminished 7 resolution. Also 2 step resolution. Lower any note by half step to make a dominant 7 then resolve to its tonic chord.<br>Cdim7- lower the the C to B and you get the B7 then resolve to E triad (major or minor)<br>Cdim7- lower the the Eb to D and you get the D7 then resolve to G triad (major or minor) <br>Cdim7- lower the the F# to F and you get the C7 then resolve to F triad (major or minor) <br>Cdim7- lower the the A to Ab and you get the Ab7 then resolve to Db triad (major or minor)<br><br>Do this for the other 2 dim7 and you have done a cadence in all 12 keys.<br><br>Then do it for each inversion or each of the 3 dim7 chords then you get all those cadences in the various inversions.

I hate rote practice. I love when I get to reflect on how things are going through observation. I try to do it like learning a language. Using the ear. Creating something that feels tangible. It's an active thing engagement for the brain.
