  Funny I know all this stuff now I'm getting near to 80 , but just one video like this 20 years ago would have saved me a lot of heartbreak over to many years , people don't realize HOW lucky they are to be able to watch someone like you for nothing . Good luck from Ireland

  Hey mate, just found your channel.  Brilliant!  I just needed the very last lesson, when it's too low on the first or second fret, think about octaves and move capo up the neck.  Wow!  Never thought to do that.  I'm going to learn Dolly's "Here you come again" song and this was the very problem.  She had a really high voice.  But she was such a great singer, on that song she would get really soulful with it.  Fantastic song. Hey, you are a fantastic finger pickers.  Great job on the Beatles tunes.  Very nice voice to boot.  That's rare on You tube.  The combination.  Cheers.  No, I'm not from England, Just a huge Beatles fan!  lol.

  Rob, as ever a great lesson and I find I end up with the capo on one of the first three frets a lot to suit my voice. Thee are some songs I still struggle with in terms of my voice works for most but then I can't take it up a register - like the end of White Rabbit for example, but I'm trying to go down in pitch for those. BTW, a mental image of the late great Norman Wisdom shouting 'Mr Grimsdale' brought a big smile.
