  My theory is that Pirate Clark is so big because Bobby zoomed the camera in on Clark when he broke the chair. The Complex could “see” the electrical video signal in the camera, which depicted the image of Clark expanding, and the Complex interpreted the zoomed image literally.

  My take on pirate Clark eating Clark is that.. in the "real" world.. if you don't ever address your rage or bitterness, it will consume you. In the dimensions of the backrooms, because he decided to not change, pirate Clark LITERALLY consumed Clark. If the backrooms can only mimic the "human world" in a way that misses the details, then this too was a mimic of that. The moment Clark made the decision to not change is what changed the "algorithm" of pirate Clark to now want to "consume" him.
