  For all of us old Vets. Army 81-85, we ate 30 YO c rations for weeks on end. Zero problems. None.

  I was talking to the butcher in my local Safeway and this is what they told me. We actually have a pretty close relationship.... trade information. &nbsp;They said that they got a notification from corporate that because of the beef shortages. They were going to start pushing pork as the loss leaders and to not expect to say a continuation of beef on sale. And then the butcher told me that they are not getting the large pieces that they usually get. &nbsp;So keep that in mind when you&apos;re prepping because if you do have a freezer slaughter for pork is October and November and you should be able to stock up on pork.

  Keystone ground meat is sometimes cheaper thru Walmart on line than directly from the factory. Factory is family owned and locally sourced in Lima, Ohio.

  I buy my husband sardines once in a while, but I tell him that he can eat them outside. Thankfully, he usually only eats them when I&apos;m not home, and he wasn&apos;t offended when we were team driving in a truck and I didn&apos;t want to smell that stuff.

  I agreed, I saw some ground beef for 8 dollars a pound. Things just keep going crazy.

  Keystone is absolutely excellent. Big enough can for a family meal &nbsp;An example would be beef stew. The shelf life is a very long time. It states the exact production date and best by date on the can. They will last YEARS past the best by date.
