I want to thank everyone for watching and showing support. This was my biggest project ever, and honestly, I'm very happy that the 4 months of work, editing, researching, and scriptwriting didn't go to no avail. I've read every comment so far, and the overwhelming majority of these comments are positive. It's great to see a lot of people sharing their experiences during this time period, as well as sharing how they found the video moving.

The support means the world to me. Thanks again!

The fact that nearly no one at Jagex believed that OSRS would survive more than 6 months, while now 11 years later, we're literally in the top 3 most played MMO's, makes me happy and proud. Great video btw!

It's an absolute miracle ash hasn't been fired for the numerous times he publicly stood against his employers for the communities good. What a God send we still have this angel

In 2013 Mod Ash hoisted the entire company on his shoulders and carried them to where we are today.

That's why this game is alive today.

Honestly the EoC probably saved lives with how many people quit their Runescape addiction.

The RuneScape community doesn't deserve a man like Mod Ash. I lived through the removal of wilderness and free trade and stuck around for 8 years hoping the game would someday relive the glory it had in 2006. The man deserves to be up there with the Gower brothers when it comes to recognition for the success of the franchise.

I remember these events still clearly. I was so mad 2012-2013 at Jagex, even quit for a private server.
I immediately dropped the private server when I heard about the OSRS poll, the day I logged on "2007Scape" as it was called back then, is still to this day, one of my best gaming moments ever.

Well that was easily the most impressive intro to a YouTube video essay I’ve ever seen and probably will ever see.
