  My favourite thing to do during quest cutscenes is to examine everything in the scene and then read them afterwards.

  I remember an old game from the RuneScape forums: log in, and examine something immediately so that it appears in the text box right below &quot;Welcome to RuneScape&quot; so it looks like it is describing RuneScape itself. For example, logging in and examining the piano so it says:<br>&quot;Welcome to RuneScape!<br>I was forced to play this as a child.&quot;

  &quot;I vs YOU&quot; in examine text doesn&apos;t necessarily mean the speaker is changing, it just means the character is speaking to the player rather than to themselves. This might break immersion but since most of the examine text is tongue in cheek anyway, I think it fits.

  In RS3, there&apos;s one examine that actually has an effect beyond simply write some text to the chatbox.<br>If you examine a bench on the south side of Rimmington, an NPC that appears to be a man in a very simple all-black ninja-looking outfit will suddenly appear sitting on the bench, and from then on will always be there.

  Fun fact, Habbo hotel had this too, every piece of furniture had an examine text. but they removed the feature because they tought it was useless. runescape is one of the last games with a feature like this.

  I always like to imagine that when the examine text is in 2nd person it&apos;s your character talking to you the player.
