I really enjoy the way you go back and forth between a "story" and the actual information from the video headline, makes the videos very interesting, was surprised to see it's only your first year on youtube as the videos are very high quality, looking forward to watching in 2025!

I’ve been following your journey since the beginning and you stand out from other “photography” YouTubers. I’ve always loved your mix of camera talk and history and I’m rooting for you bro! Also welcome to the Z8! Been using 2 since launch for my wedding business with the z6iii as a 3rd cam and I fully agree with your statements. I never thought you’d turn to it for street tho! Nice!

Congratulations on 10K subs. It's easy to see why Jack as I look forward to seeing your content, which isn't always the case for many channels. It's interesting to see your choice of the Z8 over the Z6 III, but again it makes sense to me. I shoot with the Z9 and Zf - I chose the Z9 over the Z8 as I shoot a lot of wildlife and the Z9 feels more balanced in my hands with longer glass. I'm looking forward to see what you achieve in 2025.

Jack, I'm just halfway through watching this video and I just had to pause to comment that the photos you've been sharing in this particular video are something else entirely! Some of the most beautiful street photos I've ever seen :)

Been following your channel for a while and I love how you approach sharing your experience with these tools from the soul of it, and how you connect with it emotionally. We need a lot more of this on YouTube :')

Thank you, thank you, thank you...for saying your just getting started! I love your style (a 2nd story built in), demeanor (positive and relatable), and perspective (in it for fun) on photography. Keep them coming, your videos are always my favorite of the week.

Ha there is the video :D
Congrats again on 10k my friend! :)
It was a pleasure to discover your channel and see it grow so fast in your first year! That's thanks to your high quality standards, consistency and eye for small details.
It was an honor to collab with you and I wish we could meet up in person and do a photowalk. But with my small kids travel is for a few years out of the window ... :'D
Keep up your great work and fire! It inspires me also to keep going on YT.
Happy New Year and see you in 2025! :)

I bought a Z8 three months ago and have not looked back. I have rekindled my love of photography with a dream camera that is an instant classic. Nikon products are very deliberately designed and do not stray too far from core DNA, as do many cameras from manufacturers too eager to please niche buyers.

Congrats on your milestone! Starting a successful YT channel these days can be an uphill battle, but your content and unique style truly stands out.

Your Z8/Zf setup was my dream setup when I was looking to upgrade earlier this year, but the Z6III was the compromise. I absolutely enjoy using that camera. Many of the shortcomings of the camera are things I never encounter as I’m more of a casual shooter and consider the updates a huge upgrade over the Z5 it replaced. I’d eventually like to get a Zf and maybe a Z8 down the road.

A year has flown bye Jack, it’s been great to follow your journey. Your videos are highly thought out, flow beautifully and are not all photography, which I love. Thanks for making the leap to share your thoughts with us, can’t wait for more! All the best!
