I gotta say, you'll love that tool when you decide to rearrange the shop and need to move the lathe.

I don't think that shim deserves the shame of the box treatment, that should be framed on the wall as the visual reminder to always learn from mistakes.<br>Great Video.

Millwright here. Machinery leveling screws are often hollow. They are designed to be set over threaded anchors, ideally epoxied into the concrete. That way you can actually PULL the machine down into level and/or remove twist.

This man really won in life inheriting a WHOLE ASS WORKSHOP from his veteran grandpa, using it for content creation which is thriving and having a very supportive and charismatic wife. How he treats his workshop reflects how he manages life with his attention to detail and perfectionism. We love you man, We strive to be a man like you

You made what is called a "King Way Alignment Tool". Richard King (the inventor's son) is still teaching scraping classes. You would probably love it! Well worth the money for the class.

Nice fixture. Now you need a nice wooden case with green felt lining for it.

I'm a student CNC Machinist, and even though you do everything manually, I've still learned a lot from watching your channel.
