Can anyone remember Bendix washing machine, I had one for 20 years, bulletproof, and easy to repair yourself if it ever did let you down

Bought my LG washer in 2007 and it's still working perfectly. It was one of the first models with a steam mode and was £799 from Comet in 2007, so far from cheap, it is also a beautiful piano gloss black, quite unusual back in 2007.

Panasonic, 12 years old still going strong, no faults so far.

My old Miele came with 5 year warranties and lasted 10 years. They now only come.with a 2 year warranty. If the manufacturer has more than halved the warranty then it has no faith in its own products.

I have my washing machine, Siemens, and dryer, Miele, since 2002. Both still going strong. I got them put up on blocks after watching "Neighbours", as I had a bad back then.

I had a Bendix washing machine. They used induction motors and the controls were so simple. Easy to repair. Working horse!

Have had a Siemens washing machine for 22 years and still working as well as the first day I used it. I have gone through 2 door seals but that is wear and tear.
