  I've been doing it for 5 years. Everything you said is accurate. It has its share of frustrations, but compared to other jobs I've had, it's the least stressful. I'm with you on the small talk. I just want to be left alone when I'm working.

  I love shooting the breeze with home owners and scooting around town being free. Ain’t no way you could lock me into one location. That’s prison.

  Been in the industry 3 years. Everything you’re saying down to being stuck in repetitive conversations and the frustrating drive time is so spot on. I’m currently looking for a new industry to get into myself

  My biggest complaint with the industry as well. No time!<br><br>It is absolutely worth it if you can find a company that cares more about service than unreasonable production numbers. Also efficient routing is very important to maximize production in a reasonable manner.

  So I started out with the night front desk job at luxury apartment complexes in DC.. for 4 years then moved to pest control job for the next 4-5 living with mom but first blue collar job. Easy work if you can handle repetitive manual labor and not afraid of bugs. got my first serious job certification, learned inspecting and selling, learned the local industry area did lots of side work for cash. Made skilled trade friends and met cool people along the way. &nbsp;paid $1k for building maintenance class at local community college learned tools and basic residential construction.. that to me into helper jobs and eventually garage door repair. Made amazing money tons of side work had to find a good company. That experience got me into home appliance repair got that down even learned how to clean the dryer vents made cool money had tons of side work. I still do all these things as side hustles for cash. Took all of that experience and stumbled into fire alarm industry where I now use every skill I learned from jobs listed above. I’ll probably retire here. That’s my career without a degree

  Thanks man your video has given me an idea on what I’m getting myself into very informative, and yeah man I worked as a tinter for 5 years also and I can say it’s true about getting burnt out it happens you just get tired of all the bs at one point happens in almost all jobs.

  Been in the industry 20 years and I&apos;m grateful to work for a mom and pop business. Customer service with ample time is wonderful being in a rush gives me OCD. Downside South Texas weather is brutal from may through September sometimes the heat index is 106-110 it&apos;s insane. I enjoyed the video it&apos;s as truthful as it comes it&apos;s a tough business .

  I pay my guys $22hr plus bonuses based on performance. No crawl space or attic jobs allowed. No bed bugs either.

  I’ve seen a guy come remove an empty birds nest from the gutter at my job for 150$ and it took him 5 minutes lol sounds worth it. Just don’t take every job
