  Thank you all for making this one of my more popular videos!  And I apologize that all of my replies to your comments disappeared when I switched this channel over to a "Brand Channel."  I am always happy to talk about my experiences and reply to reasonable comments. This videos popularity prompted the Terminix Corporate Office to write me a letter asking me to DELETE MY VIDEOS!  So naturally, I read their letter on a new video I posted recently called 'Why I quit my job at Terminix - The video Terminix wants me to DELETE!"   Anyone watching this video.  If you want to work at a pest control company…I would strongly advise looking for a locally owned company.  Been at a local mom and pop in Savannah Georgia and couldn’t be happier.  I have been there over 11 years and couldn’t be happier.  Avoid the big corporate bohemoths!

  I left corporate slavery. Now working for a man who owns his own company. Solo operator. Now its the two of us and I LOVE it. Pay is better. Pay increases monthly. Always off around 2pm. And his philosophy and methods are opposite than the corporate company he came from. And it works better! Couldn't be happier.

  You are 100% spot on. I left them in January after only 6 months. I spent 6 years with a competitor company so I know the business. They never had any decent leads. They were all these “texting team” leads that were total BS and only agreed for the “free” inspection. And if there wasn’t enough leads on your schedule they would randomly add made up appointments so your numbers were up but totally screwed your closing rate. And don’t get me started on the piss poor service team with no training. I could sell a job at $6-8000 but the technicians are not trained to do the job right so they are always calling to complain or cancel due to bad service. Bottom line is Terminix is the most dysfunctional organizations have ever been a part of.

  Ex terminix tech here and my pay would get hit if customer had to reschedule or if the customer got mad that someone came out and tried to sell them something EVERYTHING always led to a pay cut

  I appreciate your candiness! I was reading the sales position that was offered in my area and they were saying someone is sales made ovwr 400k! Thanks again! sounded too good to be true!

  Wow u 100 percent rite....I never worked for terminix...but been in ur place ....I am blessed to work for a mid size termite company in Southern California and I get paid hourly..plus a small commission...my job title is renewal inspector, sales inspector . Treater..and wood repairs...and give us employees plenty of time...never rushing.....take care..

  Lol..I tried quitting my Pest job a few times. They didn&apos;t want me to leave. If you want to have a good resume in sales I would put up with it for six months with my sights on something better. For me personally? Family always came first. Good video!
