  Damage is out of control imo. There is very little windows where you can actually stop healing.

  This is why I play healpool. I know he’s not meta, but at least I have fun on the role and I can make plays like attacking with swords while still healing people

  it’s simultaneously the communities inability to play cover that strats have to healbot, while flexing between the roles you definitely peep it. they run it down mid, get shot to shit, ping heal, instead of taking off angles more often, as well as using the environment.

  I feel like the healbot mentality of Strategists doesn't work for heroes like Loki, who's Team-Up and Ult should incentivize doing things other than healbotting, but if you pop ult and don't copy your other strat's ult or copy the enemy strat's ult you're basically throwing because now you have this like 11 second window where you aren't doing any healing if you chose to try and make a play by copying a DPS or Tank ult.

  I think I&apos;m probably part of the exact audience you&apos;re talking about here, and this video really hit for me. <br> <br>Marvel Rivals is my first hero shooter and really my first PvP game I&apos;ve ever seriously tried to get good at. I started in the Marvel Rivals Academy, actually learned from you there, and naturally ended up a Strategist main. I picked up Rocket because he&apos;s my favorite Marvel character, not because I knew he was an easy character to learn the game on. I just discovered that I genuinely enjoy healing, keeping my team alive and trying to be the person holding everything together. <br> <br>I&apos;ve gone from being intimidated by PvP games to hitting GM consistently, peaking GM2, and now I&apos;m trying to push Celestial. So I consider myself a competitive player at this point, even though I started basically from zero. <br> <br>That&apos;s why I think you nailed the biggest frustration I&apos;m feeling with Strategist right now: I actually LIKE healing, but sometimes it feels like the game doesn&apos;t give me a choice to do anything else. <br> <br>I&apos;ve had games on Rocket where I&apos;m halfway through with 25-30k healing, 0-1 deaths and barely any damage, and someone calls me a healbot. And I&apos;m sitting there thinking: yes, I am — because look at what is happening in front of me. If I stop healing for two seconds to shoot something, my tank can explode. If I turn to deal with a dive, someone else can die. If I try to make an aggressive play and it doesn&apos;t immediately work, the cost of those few seconds can be massive. <br> <br>I&apos;m actively trying to become a more aggressive Strategist and get comfortable on other roles because I know that&apos;s part of becoming a better player and continuing to climb. Watching players like Vicisity has helped me a ton with that. He&apos;s a Strategist main who can flex onto basically any role at a Top 500 level, and even watching him, you see the same problem: there are situations where the game basically tells you, &quot;heal or lose.&quot; <br> <br>The part I slightly struggle with is that I don&apos;t want healing itself to stop being important. I actually enjoy being the guy keeping everyone alive. I don&apos;t need Strategists to become DPS with a heal button. What I want is a meaningful CHOICE between healing and making a play. <br> <br>If I see an opportunity and stop healing for 3 seconds, I want the potential value of what I can accomplish in those 3 seconds to actually compete with the value I gave up by not healing. <br> <br>That, to me, is the agency Strategist is missing. <br> <br>And ironically, learning Vanguard and Duelist to help me climb has made me notice it even more. On those roles I constantly feel like I&apos;m making decisions. On Strategist, there are stretches where it feels like the decision has already been made for me: somebody is taking damage, so keep healing. <br> <br>I still love the role. I still want to main Strategist. I just want more opportunities where being a great Strategist means more than being extremely good at keeping the bucket moving.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntRMwKfjvWs&amp;t=984">16:24</a> I thought of a great fundmental show of a rework in Cloak and dagger:<br>Dagger: Lightforce Dagger:<br>it&apos;s attraction range is heavily lowered so like (slightly away from the crosshair), Heal on hit is increased to 18 but it no longer realeses a spell on impact, instead it has it bounces between allies up to 4 times, reducing healing by 20% for everytime it hits the same target.<br>Against Enemies it deals now 20 per round.<br>Veil of Lightforce: Additionally it grants a 20% attack speed boost and Accelerate.<br>when used on targets effected by terror cape, it will increase the vulurability to 30% and Allies will heal for 30% of the damage they deal to those effected. <br>Dagger&apos;s Lightforce daggers can also bounce through those enemies aswell.<br><br>Dagger Storm: Healing reduced to 20/s however, Lightforce Daggers gain a 50% healing boost to allies effected.<br>If hit by Veil of Lightforce the storm will explode in a wave forward, Slowing all targets hit by 50% for 2 seconds.<br><br>Cloak: <br>Darkforce cloak: unchanged<br><br>Terror Cape: Darkforce cloak slows enemies effected, if used on Dagger storm, it will turn the bubble into a cloaked storm instead, dealing damage overtime, Darkforce cloak spreads to nearby targets in the field dealing 80% of the damage and applies Terror Cape&apos;s effects.<br><br>Dark teleportation: Can Consume dagger storm to then heal 80 hp for all effected and those who are effected by terror cape will be Earthbound while in the shroud.<br><br>Eternal Bond: Now has 3 charges after use for 10 seconds, each only being 1 dash.
