Why Does the Marvel Rivals Community HATE Flats?

  My issue with flats is how much he flip flops depending on what is popular, i remember backing during the days of paladins he was shitting on the game calliing it a rip off, slop and basically feeding into the ow community's perception of the game being a clone (it was not)  but now he openly says "well it was good to have competion for overwatch" WHEN He was one of the reasons many ow players didn't even touch the game. And now he's doing it again with rivals, flipping on the dime with what ever is the public perception of the game is now

  The dumbest thing for me is, that so many people believe you can and should only like one of the two games. Why not play both? Both have their good and bad. And if you try the other and don&apos;t like it, fair play but don&apos;t shit on it just cause you don&apos;t personally like it. How nice is it to have two of these kind of games to alternate between? <br>And stop being bothered by what streamers say about games you enjoy, and their subjective preferences and opinions. You are your own person and different people like and prefer different things, in anything in life from food, movies, music, to video games, clothing, etc.

  I play rivals and I play overwatch and I find that most &quot;streamer&quot; opinions are completely worthless when it comes to the enjoyment of the game. &nbsp;I like overwatch more because I play other blizzard games so I guess I&apos;m biased. &nbsp;Most people in flat&apos;s community only play rivals or overwatch if flats says its good. &nbsp;They don&apos;t enjoy anything it seems unless someone tells them its good. &nbsp;Flats used to play siege but moved over to overwatch because of the viewership. &nbsp;It doesn&apos;t matter they are just video games afterall.

  In my theory, Overwatch truly started healing because all the content creators who mained Overwatch migrated on over to Rivals. Now that they had their way with Rivals, crying for characters to get nerfed, buffed, mechanics getting removed and added, etc. and got it in the state it&apos;s currently in, now they want to go back to Overwatch. It would not surprise me if Overwatch started spiraling downward again now that they are all starting to go back.<br>In Addition: I&apos;ll never forget the time that Flats advised someone to fly high as storm, anyone who advises that should not have their word taken to heart.

They want every support to have some kind of movement ability, resource management bars, take away primary fire healing, etc. Guess who their favorite character is? MANTIS 😭

  The problem with Flats is the manner he chose to burn his bridges. He could have just said, &quot;I don&apos;t like the team up changes so I am gonna take a break from MR and play more OW. Might check back in next season.&quot;<br><br>Instead he goes with, &quot;go play OW! Enjoy your Rivals slops! I hope you feast on it!&quot; And he said that with alot of venom in his voice.<br><br>Dude knew what he was doing and is just drama and engagement farming. This is the problem we have as he has in the past also shat all over OW2 changes. He has revealed himself to be a slimy fella.

  I know people don&apos;t understand that you can enjoy multiple games at the same time; but believe it or not it&apos;s actually good for my mental when my games and the matchmaking is total crap in Rivals, I just get off and play some Overwatch. If the games and vibes are good in Rivals, I just keep going. It&apos;s completely normal to enjoy both games and good for your mental.

  I&apos;m watching the video, but most people don&apos;t hate Flats, just a lot of the things he says/does. Especially since he&apos;s not being genuine.

  I just genuinely get the feel that he resents marvel rivals, likes overwatch more and is kinda just done with the hero shooter genre in general but it’s his whole personality so he has to pretend like he still likes MR/OW. His MR takes would genuinely kill the game if implemented

  Not a flats fan at all. Find him annoying and arrogant. Regardless, none of this matters. Could be any game, any community. People complain after the honeymoon phase. It’s just how it is lol none of this is real life. Play or don’t. Stop listening to creators who tell you what to think about the game. They are too close. They can’t see the full picture. They are inside. And can see the outside. Learn to feel the game out yourself. It’s better that way.
