  I feel like important lore to the legally blonde world is that warner BOUGHT his way into Harvard by being a nepo baby but Elle got like a 99/100 on an exam designed for academia

  You mention that Elle is "not qualified" for Havard in the admissions scene. But I think it was the YouTuber LegalEagle that pointed out her LSAT score of 179 is basically a perfect score, which would make her amongst the brightest students in the USA for that year, she clearly attends a reputable college & her major in fashion would almost certainly be seen as a plus. The fashion industry is huge & employs plenty of lawyers, preferably ones with a background knowledge of the industry. IRL, Havard would bite Elle's hand off, even without the Ricky Martin video 😂.

  When I was 12 I watched this movie and said "I'm gonna be Elle Woods you watch". I bleached my hair, got a law degree, and am now training to be barrister all cause of this movie. Iconic af❤

She had almost perfect grades (her lsat-scores where 179 out of 180 and she had a 4.0 gpa which I think is the highest you can get?) and to get into harvard law you don&apos;t need to have a major that has anything to do with law. New law students don&apos;t require prior knowledge of the topic and it&apos;s apparently not uncommon to have a background in other majors. + she has the whole &quot;being involved in philantropy and being preseident of her sorority (leadership skills)&quot; going on which is a nice bonus.<br>The only thing that doesn&apos;t meet the requirements of the real world is that you have to hand in a written essay, not a video one. But that would have been quite boring for a movie.<br>And while, yes, the scene has a very creepy undertone of &quot;old men wanting pretty young woman&quot;, &nbsp;the whole point of this scene is to confront the stereotype of &quot;overtly&quot; feminine = incapable/not serious/unskilled. It lays the ground work for a lot of the rest of the movie because it shows how Elle is using her love of feminity to grow and gain skills. And she is admitted because of that - not in spite of it.

  The musical of legally blonde is amazing as well,, you see Elle and Emmett’s relationship actually progress and it’s just amaze
