  What happened to Millie will ALWAYS happen. If you are not the perfect victim, it&apos;s somehow your fault. The lack of proper strand testing, care, or history questions, the ghosting from the entire salon. That didn&apos;t happen because Millie lied about her hair history. That happened because the salon was negligent

  I hate this idea of Poor People Deserve NOTHING. Oh, Millie pays for studio time? People act like she should have lived on gruel and lake water so that she could get her hair done. People in bad financial situations still deserve to enjoy themselves, as someone in a wonky situation, we deserve to have fun too!!

  It literally does not matter if her hair was bleached and the stylist didn’t know. That hairdresser KNEW she’d used box dye and still sat her in that chair.

  This was honestly so refreshing to watch after watching this unfold on Tiktok! I was getting incredibly annoyed at just how many people switched up and then refused to think a little harder about the situation. I feel it&apos;s obvious to deny a client service if their hair has a possibility of permanent damage, yet most on Tiktok seems to believe that Milly is 100% responsible and should&apos;ve never went for the perm while having box dye and old lightener in her hair. Like, if we knew what we were doing, why would we bother going to a professional and getting their opinion/service? I understand she was distasteful at times with how she&apos;s reacted to certain things, but most people would, had their hair been fried and then they were treated horribly by the salon, and it went super viral. It was the internet who reviewbombed the salon, but now Milly is hated for speaking out on her experience and getting the stylist fired? And her followers were interested in her music, so she takes the opportunity to promote it, but now it&apos;s some conspiracy that she did all this JUST to promote her band? I don&apos;t know, seems ridiculous. It really just feels like nitpicking so they have an excuse to bully someone.

  As a black box dye + perm girlie, I was so confused by everyone telling Millie she was dumb for even thinking it was possible, like, it is pretty much possible, you just need to find a hairdresser that knows what they&apos;re doing.<br>Also, I understood her very first video because sometimes hair be looking wild during those 24-48 hrs, but the perm solution definitely needs to be rinsed out in the salon (after neutralizing it) and that&apos;s where you can see the results.

  People shitting on this poor woman for the way she spends what little money she has is straight up triggering to me. At a time when wealth inequality and cost of living are at an all time high, social programs are being cut, and the federal minimum wage is still $7.25 a god damn hour, people oughta have some damn empathy and class consciousness. Poverty in this country has been inescapable for a long time, and it’s only getting worse under the oligarchs currently running shit. We need working class solidarity now more than ever!!
