  I'm about 16 minutes in, and my problem with the filter debacle is that I don't care if she uses filters or not, but if she's doing a brand deal or showcasing a product, she shouldn't be using filters. That feels like false marketing to me. But I can tell it's a sensitive topic  because of how she's been treated over her looks. Shes conflating the questioning about filters to people calling her ugly.

  The thing with the &quot;this is what I look like&quot; is that if you randomly pick any three pictures of her, she looks like a COMPLETELY different person. Not just &quot;put together&quot; versus &quot;wow, that&apos;s a bad shot&quot; - I have to triple check if it&apos;s her from one pic or one thumbnail to the next.

  I have had Mikayla blocked for years at this point (as she brought Jeffree Star back to public life after MascaraGate on top of lying), but to answer your question if an influencer&apos;s politics matter? The short answer is yes. The long answer is yes, due to being Canadian and watching a country that is supposed to be an ally threaten to invade us, threaten the border agreement right before our last PM stepped down and engage in a massive trade war, threaten the rights of the Quebecois when trying to make agreements and to try and gain the right to dictate who we can trade with in the future. If an influencer is MAGA they support all of that so it matters to me personally.
