Never saw these shows before and I’ve seen many Benny shows but our ole pal here Buck Benny provides us Jack Benny fans with all the Benny shows possible to see right here on his You Tube channel thanks my/our Buckaroo.

Wow....Dennis sings "Climb Every Mountain" "...from the Mary Martin musical, The Sound of Music..." but that show had JUST opened on Broadway. I'm just surprised the song was already "out there" to sing.

The Jack Paar episode was a new one for me. So was the Rock Hudson/Rock Hudson episode. Thanks.
It was fun to see Dennis do more than just be Dennis in both episodes

Jimmy Fallon certainly does present young comedians. It doesn't have the same impact that it had had under Johnny, of course, simply because the television universe is much different. But Fallon does indeed uphold that tradition.

Jack imitating Jack Paar was hilarious! He nailed his mannerisms perfectly. And Downs was wonderful, the way he played along.❤️ I love how he cracks up at 1:57:22.

Jerry Lester, Steve Allen, Jack Parr, then Johnny.

While Jack Paar often name-dropped Jack Benny's name, Benny was far closer personally to Johnny Carson. And Benny's portrayal of Paar's neuroses and shameless credit-taking are brutal.
