  We purchased a YS640 in 2015 and cook on it 2-4 times a week. It has never had a problem, but we learned early on to go ahead and vacuum out the burn pot after every cook. If one intends to grill/sear over the removable hatch, the Grill Grates are almost a &apos;must.&apos;<br> &nbsp;The thing is a tank compared to the big-box units some of our friends have.

  I’ve had my 640 for nearly 8 years and I just love it, it’ll turn out professional results every time. &nbsp;It doesn’t matter what you’re cooking if you have a culinary mindset and a good sense of time and temperature professional results are inevitable. &nbsp;If you’re a beginner just getting started there are some recipes included that will help you learn and understand how to prepare meals for the family. &nbsp;Just slowdown, kick back and enjoy the experience and your newly acquired title of Pit-master.

  I love my Yoder 640! &nbsp;It gets used multiple times a week - grilling, smoking, pizza and desserts. &nbsp;I had drooled over one for a little more than 2 years before finally pulling the trigger. &nbsp;Once I started using it, I wished I had done it earlier.

  I have a Lang smoker on a trailer! Believe me! Cooks even as hell with the reverse flow design!

  &quot;Master of everything&quot; &nbsp;I couldn&apos;t agree more. &nbsp;I purchased a YS1500 in 2016 and haven&apos;t looked back. &nbsp;I now have a YS480, Cimmaron, Outlander, and of course the O.G. YS1500. &nbsp;I use them all! &nbsp;The versatility of these cookers is hard to beat.

  I’ve tested out Lone Star. They’re excellent. However, my experience has been the Yoder produces a better smoke flavor and a bark extremely akin to my offset smoker. That’s where Yoder truly shines. It’s as close to an offset smoker that you will get with a pellet smoker.
