Personally this kind of reaction is so much more interesting than just watching like big hits or catch compilations. The thing that makes football my favorite ball sport is the level of complexity and strategy. It’s like a video game with 20 different classes and each class has like an entire separate game they are playing.

Love this rabbit hole!  I'm learning things and I've watched football my entire life.  There's so much to pay attention to.  That's why I like breaks between plays.  It gives you an opportunity to go back and watch the play unfold during the replay.

Edge rushers have the best job on the planet. I played edge in highschool and it’s the most fun I ever had in sports. You’re either setting the edge for the run or getting after the QB. At the NFL level they’re literal freaks of nature and get paid top dollar to create chaos.

This is what you'll hear people referring to as The Trenches.  Where the big big dudes battle it out.

A very informative video Santino.  I didn't know all of this about pass rushing.  Every position has its specific techniques and required skills.  And  pretty much every position has its own coach to teach players and also to condition them with training and drills to increases their speed, power, quickness, flexibility and footwork.  Its amazing how often success in sports comes down to footwork.  I played a lot of basketball and baseball all of my life and it is the same for both of those sports.  Clean concise footwork is critical.  Loved the video and I can see that you really got a lot from it.  Props to whoever recommended it.  Rich in Seattle ♠

Cam Heyward has the best long arm and is one of the best power rushers he left off the video
