I love Sega Lord X's voice. Listening to it lulls me into a deep trance, where I wake up with no knowledge of where I am or what I've been doing.

I love that GG Shinobi is getting recognized here. I played the hell out of that game as a kid. My friends at school all enjoyed it, too, haha! It really was an outstanding game.

Shinobi and Shadow Dancer are my favorite arcade games by far. The throwing star sound effect in the first game is one of the best FM sounds ever.

Shinobi arcade was also ported to the NEO GEO btw. It's a 99percent exact conversion and free to download. :)

Shinobi on the Switch has an easy mode which allows you to take a hit without dying. It makes the game very reasonable.

The first arcade game taught me the concept of speed-running. I could beat the game without dying, using ninja magic and completing all the bonus stages. Only thing left was to do it faster and faster.

My father gave me the SMS, and Shinobi was one of the many games I had for it. Years later, I bought a Sega Genesis, and The Revenge of Shinobi became one of my favorites—along with Super Monaco GP*, which I still play on both the console and via emulator. Excellent video covering all the *Shinobi versions. Congratulations, Lord X.
