Actually, the way the $25,000 prize worked was that very specific cartridges would contain a screen after you beat it saying "You Win!" With the phone number to call sega.<br>To this day, a cartridge has not been found with the screen.

Thank you for clarifying that you’re working with the PAL version of the game because it was so jarring hearing the music so slowed down compared to the NTSC version I owned when I was a kid.

Given the immense popularity of the internet meme featuring Hatune Miku and Sonic the Hedgehog as the patents of Segami from the “Sega Hard Girls” series, it’s surprising that Vector Man didn’t receive more recognition as the creation of Miles “Tails” Prower.

I like to think this is the equivalent of Donkey Kong Country of the SNES. Both pushing the 16-bit hardware past what people thought was possible. I never got to play this, but I remember being blown away seeing it shown off at a store.
