  The divine comedy is basically a self-insert fanfic. <br><br>He gets to meet Virgil Senpai, everyone thinks he’s awesome, he gets to see people he doesn’t like suffer while people he does like gets rewards. And he gets to meet god.

  No one tell Mike that Harlan Ellison himself co-designed I Have No Mouth and wrote the 130 page script with David Sears who himself wasn&apos;t sure he&apos;d heard right when assigned the job and then was repeated told &nbsp;&apos;Oh I love Ellison&apos;s stories, but there&apos;s no way you could turn that into a game.&apos; Ellison also hated computers and wrote all of his work on the script on a typewriter. He had to be convinced there had to be a happy ending possible as you can&apos;t have a game you can&apos;t win, which maybe explains why he was so brilliant voicing AM.
