Josh clearly didn't finish the game if he complains about lack of polish.
The credits are full of Polish people.

Actually, unless you have went on a date with every single dev from CD Projekt Red, you can not critique this game.

I think when people say that this game is immersive, they really mean it's atmospheric

I didn't expect to see him review this game for at least another 20 years.

"im holding the mechanics to the same standard that the graphics can reach" every AAA developer: you cant do that!!!

I think the biggest narrative mistake was not letting us experience anything in that montage with Jackie. I would not have minded another 3-5 hours of story gameplay of what the montage showcased instead of just watching snippets of it. I wanted to feel more gutted by Jackie's death and actually experiencing all the moments prior would've helped immensely

I'm sure someone has mentioned this already, but the reason why Arasaka board does not act before V says something is rooted in Japanese culture. There can be open secrets that will only be discussed and reacted to IF someone says something. So it does not matter that V is a nobody, everyone knows that everyone knows, and when someone says the quiet part aloud then everybody has to react accordingly.

The smoking bit on the balcony changes based on how far into the game you are. If you get there early on Johnny begs you to smoke and you can refuse. V is only automaticly smoking if you get there later on when more of Johnny has been written into your head.

In my first playthrough of the game, I didn't get the impression that the game wanted me to like Silverhand. The impression I got from the game was "this guy was regarded as a legend and everyone thought he was the pinnacle of cool, but he's just a giant obsessive asshole and now barely anyone remembers him".

53:29 Iconic Weapons can be upgraded, it's what the Upgrade tab in the crafting menu is for.
Granted it is another example of a mechanic the game explains rather poorly, but it is there.

The requirements poped up cause you passed by the turrets. You can lift the turrets with strength. That's why you got the "requirements not met"
